Erm .. it is cant stand me now its the correct lyrics for a live version but not the album version. It must have been Pete/Carl just changing them for a certain gig. Thanks for the answers though.

I've heard that in a demo version of can't stand me now that pete did solo. didn't make it onto the sudio version though

It could be the Libertines. If it is though your lyrics are slightly wrong. It should be:
Oh teach me how to play guitar
Ah,swing around like a superstar
If it's that one then the song is Can't Stand Me Now from the album Libertines.

Smoking cigarettes and watching captian Kangeroo is a real catchy lyric also from Roger Miller who does the famous song "King of the Road".If you can't find this .These are really goood.
