our husbands see us in our sweats, no make-up, washing dishes, at our worst when we are sick with the flu ... we can't look our best every day!
but then they come accross a magazine or web site and see all these perfectly air-bruhed women!
A mistress however, always looks her best when she gets the visits!!
Life is so unfair!

Those girls in magazines or web sites went true hours of make-up, and hair style, and before it's out for the public the pictures get edited. Then those girls go home and they don't look the same without all that make-up. Some have imperfections that the cameras hide. They have sick days and look and feel awful too..
A mistress takes all the time available to get what she's after, but when the man leaves she's like one of us.
A piece of advice.. don't let yourself go, you can look good when you're at home, clean, with a little make-up and a beautiful smile..and if your husband loves you he will see the beautiful woman no matter what.
Work on your self esteem, remember there's must be a reason why your husband married you.

A real man will understand this and not have a mistress in the first place. He will have an appreciation for the woman under the sweats and see beauty in the woman without the make up, grace in the curves beneath the rags. The smell of her will entice him with no perfume save her own. A true male feels her skin and knows the difference between what is genuine and what is sincere and what is silicone and plastic and what nature provided in all of its glory and generosity and abundance and what was purchased - provided by a surgeons scalpel.

There is something precious to be cherished in what we are born with and what we own, what is truly "us". The men who adore us know that. The plastic women of the media are only visual stimulation, whacking material, unattainable. The man who loved me would never have chased such a vapor. I am real, I am flesh and blood and soul. Alive and living. Sincere and genuine, I am a woman to be touched, held, kissed, listened to, tasted, felt, and experienced, unlike the 2 dimensional women of rags and TV.

The men who are really aware, who really love, who really live, will know the difference.

Life is not fair! I know sometimes it can stink for a woman. I have 4 boys and lived on a farm, canned, cooked cleaned the house then fed 20 baby calves bottle twice a day when my twins were babies. I know what you mean. I read Proverbs 31, all the time and that's where I got my strength. My mother helped and encourage me alot too. There is so much information out there now for us to search and learn from too. Talk with you hubby and tell him how you feel. Take some cooking classes or something together, and get him involved. Get rid of the sweats before he comes home, put on your make-up and look your best for him. Don't compare yourself to the magazine women, they are professionals at what they do and they get paid to look nice. Look at you inner beauty, and your heart that is most important.

What's unfair? If you don't like the way you look then make changes...stop being insecure about airbrushed models in magazines that wear sweats, have dirty hair, and stinky armpits sometimes just the same as you do...

...and if your husband has a mistress, then why are you still a wife? It's your choice to be one, your choice to be one of the women he spends time with (instead of THE one) so stop moping and griping and either do what it takes to make your life what you want it to be, or suck it up and live with your choice(s)...

The models in magazines are in hair and makeup for atleast four hours and that still isn't good enough to get a good shot after a two hour photo shoot. Their picture has to be retouched to the point they barely recognize themselves. The look is a fantasy. I bet their husbands/boyfriends wonder why they can't look that way everyday or in real life. And what's worst all the makeup and lights is awful to the skin. It causes premature aging. Anyway, most men look at those women as fantasies and they have a beautiful woman at home who looks beautiful au natural. Men like the natural look but not all the time. You should try to look good - it shows that you care about how you look and that you want to look good for him. If you don't he will think that you are just letting yourself go. After I had my daughter, I did that because I focused on her and neglected myself. I realized that it wasn't good for me and started to focus on myself a little bit more. Its good to pamper yourself - get your hair and nails done facial etc., It sounds like you are feeling a bit insecure because of this so my suggestion is to take a day and have a mini makeover and you will feel like a new woman.

Stop whining? Who told you life was fair? it's not about that. It is the difference between fantasy and reality. So they look at women in magazines, that is what men do so what. if he is sitting there with you who cares about some airbrushed model You got him. Just make sure that there are enough times when you look smashing to go along with all sweats and no makeup etc. No need to compete, just don't let him forget what you look like all dolled up every now and again, or more often. Word to the wise.

Do not worry you get to see the worst of all. Husbands need to shave, they need to bathe and some snore and have awful breath in the morning.

I would rather say, you look a lot better, and smell much better than your partner!

And the mistress will not stay young forever. I have seen a lot of misery after a couple of years. Do not worry or become a mistress yourself!

I see your point here and you make a good one HOWEVER they all have their down days too and they dont always look like that at all times. No one is perfect and they probably dont look so great when they are not in makeup and perfect clothes at all times. We are the reality ladies and we are the REAL women and not fake ones:)

Umm, yeah! Are you surprised? You must have had some idea what to expect when you got married. Men LOVE variety, and monogomy just isn't part of their makeup. A good women can force a man to stay faithful if she works at it, but if she doesn't bend over backwards to keep his interest (mind you, he doesn't think he has to do anything to keep YOUR interest) then he goes and finds a woman who will entertain him, if only briefly. It's one of the things that make men so incredibly selfish.
Ain't it great???!
