I would be carrying my 357 magnum and the ammunition would be a hot load hollow point. So, all I have to do is hit them and it doesn't matter where. I'd pull that puppy out and it would be like the shootout at the O.K. Corral because they would probably put a cap in my a** anyway no matter what I did. So I may as well go down fighting.

It would really depend on the situation... that being said, if I felt that my (or anyone else's) life was being immediately threatened I would slink my way behind cover or concealment and neutralize any threats that I perceived. <-- military talk right there

And now... a little rant

kevin_thach23,
Do you even know what a gun permit aka CCL, LTCF, CCP, etc. is? It permits law abiding citizens to protect themselves or loved ones from those people wishing to do harm to them in or OUT of their residence. IF your state allows it of course. It sounds to me like you live in one of our states in this country that believes the Constitution does not apply to them. It is so terribly sad to see that you are so ignorant of the rights that you have and in turn let a bunch of tight *** politicians walk all over them.

I would inform the robbers that I was carrying a piece and would be willing to join them if the price was right. This would probably throw them off guard and when the opportunity came up I would draw my piece and take each one out with a shot to each of their legs so that they couldn't escape. I would then call 911 and ask for back up.

I believe that i would do what most people would...be a hero. There is a certain amount of ego stroking that ALL human beings possess, yeah yeah yeah, a lot of them would say not me,pfffft,my ***. But many of those people, are those who will just do what they think is the right thing, and if you have that permit ,then you will do what you can with it,whether for ego or because its the right thing, once in a while they go hand in hand, and so oh hell yeah i would use it,to stroke...well maybe, but because its the right thing in my mind weighs far greater.

I would first try to escape the scene and call the Police. If I could not escape, and if there was an imminent danger to myself or anybody present, I would consider using the weapon.

That would depend. If it was just one guy and I was in a good position to do it, I would love to shoot the guy. If there were several robbers, or if I was in a strategically poor position, I would have to consider my options a little more thoroughly.

Use my judgment. I would rank everyone coming out alive pretty high; I am sure many people would not and opt for certain survival of innocents.
