She has just gone instantly from best friend to an acquaintance. If she is this way now, it ain't gonna get better later. Abort this mission and confront her rather than trying to avoid her.
I think you'll find she isn't that good a friend anyway. True friends can put up with a lot from each other. My best friend lives 5500 miles away but we would both drop anything and help bury the body if need be for each other.

Confront her and get it over with. How much of a best friend can she be if she is threatening you? That way if the friendship is over you can both move on. She sounds a little high maintenance. good luck!
