I have a daughter that holds a 82gpa in her 11th year at high school she has had alot of absences although her absences were taken off due to sickness and seen by the doctors she has all medical excuses and the school tells me that she is not going to get credit for the whole year because of her absences they the school says it doesn't matter if you have doctor slips they said it did not even matter if you were in the hospital for a week they would still count that against you do you know who I would contact as far as this matter I mean it's not like my daughter is doing bad in school in fact for as much as she has been sick she is still seeming to hold an 82 gpa now what does that tell you all We live in the western NY area in a little town named FREWSBURG What do I do this is my daughters FUTURE!!!! PLEASE PLEASE HELP MY DAUGHTER AND I ARE DEVISTATED...

You need to get some proper advice, so call the Board of Ed, who you should be able to find though directory enquires. Ask who you need to speak to for attendence advice and expalin your concerns. They should have an advice for parents, as you obviously are ina tricky situation.
