which clubs look good to start up in my school?

At the Ivy level, it's not enough to just be a president of a school club. You have to do something special beyond that.

But in general, they'd rather see you be a president of one, then a member of a bunch.

Any university or college, regardless of whether it's Ivy League or not, would rather see dedication to two or three clubs than a laundry list of every club your school offers. Wouldn't you rather offer admission to the President of FBLA than to member 461?

being a part of too many goups is a bad idea in any university whether it is ivy league or not... Spreading your self to thin can lead to a negative effect of your GPA and who wants that
