Not many have found "true Friends" at that age. Patience, and do what you like to do are key factors for finding people who have common interests. Often, these people will become Friends.

I have 3 or 4 friends and there aren't many people in my school dint know me- this lets me spend a lot of time with my better friends. And my true friend moved to Massachusetts from New Jersey 3 years and 3 days ago- I think that we are better friends because we know that NOTHING can separate us because we're still friends today. I think that sometimes you have to be able to go through a lot of crap in a friendship before you can say that someone is your true friend and you just have to wait for it to happen.

Your social group depends on what your main activities are. If you are a jock. Those are your friends. If you're in band, those are your friends. If you're in theater...etc etc.
