THC. There are different ways to intake it. Some bake with it. Some use a vaporizer, Bong, pipe, rolling papers. And put in sauces and dressings. The ones that are smoked are the most hazardous to the health due to the smoke.
Its is not legal But it is a "natural" herb. It is habit forming and it is a stairway drug. most that start with weed will move to the next drug seeking the " bigger high". Most People get lazy and just chill and eat, but it does cloud judgment. The THC is more so a mental addiction due to the fact you seek the high but eventually it wont be enough.
Some use it for medical reasons, and is only legal if it is for medical use. Controlled by a Dr. The medical is usually way stronger then most street weed due to the fact that is has been been altered from the "normal growth. It can help with feeling sick to your stomach due to cancer treatment, and can improve your appetite.
Not all weed is pure. Some people sprinkle coke on it, or other drugs that can be very dangerous and may cause death.
It will never be legal in the United States, however even though I do not use, It is no worse then 99% of prescription drugs on the market. They are habit forming and alter your behavior. And the side effects are very great in most prescription drugs.

Cannabis is NOT chemically addictive. It can become psychologically addictive though as the tetrahydrocannabinol (THC- the illegal chemical present in varying amounts in all types of cannabis) releases high levels of dopermine into your system (the natural, bodily produced 'happy hormone' which is released during sex, and when eating chocolate lol). The happiness (dopermine) level you have in your body will drop (to below normal baseline) if you are a long term user when you come off it, and you can become depressed, leading to a desire for more.. But this is only temporary, and the level resets as all of the THC breaks down and is no longer present in the bloodstream; it can take a couple of weeks for heavy users.

Marijuana is not addictive, the THC in it gets you high but it isn't addictive. Some people smoke it all too often but that is by choice not necessity because their body craves it.

It's crap to say it's addictive. It can become habit forming, like prayer or masterbation before bed.
