Azteca Stadium is the most brutal place to play a football match ever. It's in Mexico City, so the altitude is high, the sun is hot, and the smog is horrendous. The Mexican players who are used to those conditions have a huge advantage. People coming from outside Mexico City have difficulty dealing with the altitude, and that has a big impact on their endurance during a 90 minute game. Moreover, the stadium has 110,000 intense Mexican fans in steep seating, so it feels like all those people are right on top of you. When the US team shows up, they have to deal with lovely things such as bags of feces thrown at them. All of this combines to make it very difficult for the US to beat Mexico in Mexico City (which is typically where national team games are played in Mexico.)

Soccer as a sport in the US never made it big,it was consider boring to watch and not a good sport to get into, the best US athletes didn't even tried playing it,now that it's begining to catch up,the US team will dominate the rest of the world just like they have dominated on the olympics.
