Here's the deal...it doesn't matter what kind of board you buy, as long as it's a real SKATEBOARD brand...World Industries, for example would be OUT!...brands like that don't use real maple decks, and typically don't care about skateboarding culture. Buy from a skateshop. After that, they only criteria for selecting a board would be: you like the graphic, team/brand loyalty, or you just want to support a particular pro. Here are some great board companies:
Flip
Baker
Toy Machine
Habitat
Alien Workshop
Girl
Chocolate
Birdhouse
Enjoi
there are more, but these guys are great!
get a graphic you like! Good Luck.

I dont matter really if you get a pro deck or a blank deck other then the picture on the bottom of the board as they are all made the same in ways other then some boards are stronger then others... I will say stay away from anything that comes out of dwindle world industries blind ect as they break tooo easy...The best pro decks i found are any from plan b zero element or baker..If you have a copelands in the area they make really good blank boards that last a good amount of time too hope this helps..

Pro boards arent usually that different, but if u dont buy a pro board, at least buy a board from a company that sponsors riders/has a skate team. this ensures that the boards will be of good quality.

well my cousin seems to like Zero boards - he says they aren't too heavy and not too lightweight, good pop, just all around good board - they seem to last a while, too. Honestly though, it depends how much skating you'll be doing and what kind also, he does a lot of street, not much vert. If you're as serious as him about skating then it would be best to try a few different boards and see what works for you.

Please! the worldwide does no longer prefer yet another "professional" skateboarder. permit me permit you in on a secret, baby. Skateboarding gets you nowhere. circulate with tennis. no longer in basic terms are you able to play as a consultant, you may play long after that. i understand a 77 twelve months previous lady who performs tennis. do you realize or have you ever seen any 77 twelve months previous skate boarders? persist with tennis!
