Figuratively -yes... just trying to stay within the law in Florida has this effect on a person sometimes... we have the longest State constitution in the USA - the laws sometimes contradict eachother.

Yes, in my japanese stick-fighting class (hanbo-jutsu),I've been backed into corners many times while sparring. It's not fun... you get hit with a stick (owies)
