No, time is linear, as is your mind. It travels in a straight line.. to you it will always be the present, but as soon as something changes you enter- move forward, if you will, into the future; this happens continuously moment after moment.

What happened in the past (passed) and happened for a reason, all these collective events create the present and cannot be changed (as the past has always created the present and the present has always created the future).. Though not everything which happened in the past has been revealed and understood, this is just down to ignorance and a lacking understanding/knowledge though. The only thing which can be changed is the present moment right now, via your choices and actions.

Also the only things which can ever be fully grasped/realised happen right in this very moment, because the past cannot be proven to a degree of 100% accuracy, but on occasion the present moment can. The past is effectively a collection of thoughts and is visualised mostly via imagination which is often inaccurate and unreliable. The future cannot be accurately predicted, so speculation of the future is also just your imagination at work.

Elflocks- ultimately all time is in the present (the only real time is the present moment). This is beyond the 3rd dimention which we live in, so it cannot be seen nor fully grasped by people, you can't say that now is simultaneously the 18th century etc (whilst living in the 3rd dimention), so let's stop being foolish & trying to confuse people, if you woke up tomorrow and it was the 18th century, as your mind IS linear, it would still be the present to you, and what's ahead of you will still be the future (read up on the law of relativity).

I definitly believe that humans can have past lives and be reincarnated. I had been having this bizarre reoccuring dream, and I have come to believe that they are memories of a past life. I rarely remember my dreams, and I not only remembered this one, but in extrodinarily vivid detail. The sights, the smells, even the texture of fabrics. One thing in particular caught my attention though, a comb that I used to pull my hair back with in the dream. It was a sun rising over an ocean and it was inlaid with different opaque stones. This symbol carried over through many parts of my dream, it was even on my mirror! I researched it, and as it would turn out, the symbol was ancient Mesopotamian. I found the exact symbol in a book! Very strange, how could I have known that if it wasn't a memory? Because i have never seen it before. So yes, I definitly believe in rebirth, because I really believe that I had a past life!

Really doubtful. More likely you were originally born in that time and have been born again today. We've all encountered what I call "old souls." They belong to the best of people like Mother Theresa, Gandhi, and Jimmy Carter. You might also know someone in your own life who is so good and so honest that you just know they are an old soul. They have learned through the lifetimes the benefit of helping others, not destroying them.

Actually I have been made aware through some of my own bizzare experiences and reading those of others that time is NOT linear but that ALL TIME IS NOW. So it is possible and I have read about this and have been made to understand that one can have simultaneous lifetimes as well. Our neurology is set up so that we experience things happening one thing after the giving this experience a linear feel.

Why do you want to know? No one knows for sure... some people believe it and some don't. Just live a happy life now because you might not have a second chance...

I think that is a personal belief not a scienific fact.

I personally have the belief that its real. I have past memories of past lives

It just depends on the person
