Maybe, Hell no & Hell no again.
It is looking more & more like Iran is sending in many of the insurgents responsible for all the blood shed you liberals like to blame on Bush. That makes war with Iran plausible.
But you are delusional if you actually think he's cancel elections & declare martial law. That didn't happen in the civil war or WW2 so why would anyone think it would be justifiable now?! If he was THAT much of a dictator, Micheal Moore would be in prison right now.
Just more paranoid delusions from the same folks that believe Bush rigged 9/11.

There was some talk about postponing the 2004 election in case of a terrorist attack. I think each state should have a plan to assign it's electoral votes if it was neccessary to cancel elections in that state - I think a hurricane is a more likely reason than a terrorist attack, but never mind that. Either would not physically stop voting in the whole country, I can't really picture a state of emergency that would justify it. I'm happier leaving the choice to 50 governeors, each choosing for their state. I don't like the idea, and hope he would be impeached within minutes of announcing that, and our military would defend the Constitution, not the Commander in Chief.

I have know idea why everyone thinks Bush is a dictator. Has anyone in the liberal based media even bothered to pick up a Dictionary and look up the word. What an insult to this great Nation to have people that are so uninformed voting. I really believe that we should require people to take an IQ test before allowing them to cast their ballot at the polls. Anyway, your question has no point and is just another example of the same antiquated liberal banter that has plagued this nation since the inception of the liberal base . Come on guys get a new platform to run on, maybe one that contains an issue or two. Just a thought!

I must have missed the "martial law" provision in the United States Constitution, which trumps the national election of the executive branch, when the country is in an emergency. FDR did not cancel any national elections during WWII. Unbeknownst to most people, the United States is not Venezuela, and as much as Bush may like to emulate the power of Chavez in real life, he is marginalized to practice such power in his fantasies only.

not with the democrats in the House and Senate.
Had the Republicans remained in power, they would have begged Bush to stay past 2008, as the republicans are fascists...
But dont be surprised if Bush's supporters plant a nuke, and take out an american city, and use that as a pretext to wage war on Iran and remain in power..

I never thought I would say this but with the way people have turned their back on our President in this dangerous time for Americans, it will be a relief to hear you all whine when the Dems get into office and take you hard earned cash and welcoming our enemy with open arms. It will take a while, but reality will set in and you'll be squealing like a stuck pig while Islamic radicals plan to destroy us.
I have sites set on some safe places to move. Can you get out in time?

I hope it's not plausible.
Can you honestly watch this guy on TV and feel proud of being an American. Have you ever listened to him talk and ask yourself if what he's saying makes sense.
If your scenario is plausible, I'll turn to God and pray for your lives. (NOTE: I believe in evolution)
