I cried while watching Oprah once. I lost the TV remote, and couldn't change the channel, and it was stuck on Oprah. It was like living in hell.

Absolutely ;( Both shows have held some pretty amazing stories over the years, especially "Oprah". The one that sticks in my mind just recently was the Katrina disaster and how Nat lost his partner in the disaster, and that Oprah seemed to show more footage then any other program.
Even though I seem to cry on the sad parts of the shows IE like Katrina, I can also start crying over the happy ones like when she gives all of her favourite things aways to the audience or honours teachers etc. It's weird how I can feel excited for all those people and have tears of joys for them. It chokes me up.
Keep up the good work ladies. Ellen you rock - keep on dancing :)

she does have shows on some times that are heartbreaking. I've never watched the ellen show.
are you crying because the show is sad or just randomly?

I must admit that I cried (just tears, no bawling) recently, when there were siamese twin girls on. It was just so heartbreaking to see, but it was also fulfilling to see that the separation operation was successful.
