First off learn to take your agressions out on something else... as for the patch... screw 2 pieces of 1 X 3 or 4 to the existing drywall and cut and screw your patch to the new wood... tape and sand... wallah!!!

Cut out the w hole square,Get a piece two inches bigger all around the whole cut size of hole in center leave the paper on new piece,place in whole leaving paper all around whole Put some drywall mud around whole first then over paper, They call this a blowout patch.smooth out mud and lightly sand then paint.Good Luck

cut out a square around it so that it exposes the studs. cut a new piece of drywall the sames size to fit. nail, putty, sand, paint. job done.
