do you think for a model that 5"2-5"3 is far off from 5"6? p.s im 13 and im 5"2 1/2?

its for elite model agency and in the website it says girls under 17 should be atleast 5"6 and im 13...and do you think they would take me based on my height i mean i have been told by people that i have the looks and the body but im just unsure .....serious answers please!!
i also went into the website and looked at the models but i couldnt see their age or height beacuse its for profesionall purposes only

If you are 13 you still have a lot of growing to do. They say you have your biggest growth spert for the year after your period starts so thats when you will grow the tallest the quickest. However if you are already at that stage you will continue to get taller until you are 18 - so dont worry ya a good height for 13. Your taller than me and im 24!! hehe.


You could wait a few years until you have grown and then apply to them. Or even apply now to teen model agencys there are lots of different ones but make sure you only apply to proper agencys and make sure your parents or a adult goes with you to any meetings etc- the worse they can say is no or come back when your older etc.

They require a specific height because the clothes that are designed are for that height and if you are taller or shorter, they won't fit right and won't wear well. A modeling agency's #1 purpose is to provide models that can sell the products. You could still get into modeling, just not high-fashion. But, I would submit your application anyway. They may love your look and have print or editorial work that does not have a height requirement.

your best chance to be a professional model are luck. My sister met all the requirements had looks height everything, lives in L.A....had the agency....even if you get on America's Top Model and get one layout...it means nothing. Just my opinion girl i would go into another field just in case. Odds are slim to nothing you will get a career out of this.

Bottom line_____Just put in your portfolio with what you have to offer and if they take you they take you and if they don't right now try again later. If your lucky you might be in an ad or two and make a few bucks.

I don't know about underage models but I know that for a model above 18 years of age you have to be 5"9' in order to be booked. I'm sure that by the age of 18 you will be around 5"7'.

Don't listen to '?' Everyone's penis is a different size, ad you might just be going through puberty early, 6 inches at 13 is quite large, seeing as that's the average size for a 21 year old adult male, but you're fine! Nothing to worry about

You are only 13 you still have time to grow. By the time you are 17 you could be 5'6" or taller. I think you shouldnt be worried about that kind of stuff at such a young age. Enjoy your youth while you still can.

They shouldn't expect a 13 year-old to be 5'10" if you get me. Height and weight is proportionate to age to a certain degree. Your height sounds average to me, and that's most likely what they're looking for "normal."

I wouldn't be worried about being excluded based on your height.

If you have exceptional beauty they might book you for catalogs, but you are not tall enough for high fashion or runway. You may grow tall enough in a few years though. Good luck.
