I am a Taurus girl and I am not so down to the earth like the horoscope says. I dream a lot. I also do not care for material things and stuff, I am just happy to have essential things and not luxury. I over analyze situations and I am trying to show tolerance when I disagree. I just have feeling I do not fit so much the Taurus in some features. The only thing I fit good is I am stubborn and I really pursue my goals. I do not get well with Virgos or Capricorn as the horoscope says as well. I get along with Scorpios and Cancers. Why I do not fit so much the Taurus personality?

You sound like a Taurus to me as well. The Taurus people I have know, if only a few, are smart, but modest about it. Also, they dress kind of preppy or casually, but always put together. I think they are really nice people. I am a Scorpio, by the way. I appreciate Taurus people due to their down to earth nature and intelligence. Also, I find them to be generally appearing calm (although maybe inside they are not) which is very good for the hyperactive Scorpio that I am. Also, Scorpio is supposed to get on well with Pisces, which I do - they are very sweet; however, I do not get along with all Cancers: I really like and respect some of them or I completely hate and distrust some of them.

Your sun sign is not all that you are sweetheart. Take for instance myself I am a Cancer with an Aries moon sign. I get along great with the water signs, earth signs, and fire signs. However for some reason I don't mix well with the air signs. Oh well can't have it all. If the Taurus features don't suit you don't get depressed about it. Its ok. They are only generalities. Sorta a profile of what most of the signs are like, doesn't mean you have to fit the bill. After all we are all individuals. However I would recommend a great astrologist site. www.astro.com. They peg you according to the time and the date of your birth. They are pretty good at it too. Hope this helps.

YOu certainly sound like a taurus to me!!!
The term down to earth, actually means that you are friendly and that you can get along with others. (not that you dont dream or fantasize)
I think certain people can get all with all types regardless of what horoscope says.
I can tell you, with my own experience married to a taurus.. stay away from Sags... I cant believe we have stayed together for 16 years!

One thing is, Horoscopes are not real. You shouldn't listen to them all the time.
I'm a Taurus girl, and I'm supposed to be opposed to Leos, but some of my bestest friends and my BF are leos and we get along swell. I'm supposed to love capricorns, but the only capricorn I know, i hate. I like Virgos ok, i like leos better, they're more fun. I'm a lot like you. I like looking at my horoscopes for fun, not as a way of life.
The main answer to this question is, sistah, everybody's different, and horoscopes aren't real. Who cares if you don't act the way you're suppossed to... You're YOU! 8D (<- big smilie with sunglasses).

But taurians aren't into material things, they're into natural things. I'm always dreaming too, I think all of those things that you describe actually do fit in with taurus, you just have to filter out stuff like: "down to earth" sins that could almost mean anything.

I don't think you should worry so much! HAve you ever heard the saying " Don't put all of your eggs in one basket?" Well the same applies here, it depends on who wrote whatever you are reading in the first place. What is your rising sign?? You know? There is a lot to take into consideration. The situation you grew up in has led you to act differently b/c of your parents?? You never know.
