I have gotten myself into trouble due to my temper and alcohol. Whenever I drink and something goes wrong I get real angry and say things I shouldn't. Got into a situation a few days ago, her brother got involved who was staying with us and we had a small fight. I swore never to drink again but now all her family is agianst me and are saying things that are not all true her uncle even called my mom and talked smack about me and there parenting.my mom brought up the fact that we have not been paying her babysitting money. We have had financial problems and intended topay her soon. he said that my wifes brother brought in enough money for the rent which was false. Now my wife is wanting to not see my parents again is looking for a child care which we can't afford. My mom has been a very good babysitter, she wants me to tell her she will no longer babysit. Can this work out? She wants to go to another state. My parents have always been there for me and it will hurt no matter what I decide

It seems like there's too much family involvement. First, to bring some peace into your family , apologize to those you offended with your bad temper outburst. Might be hard too but apologize to your in-laws.
Then control your temper and your drinking, you can harm your spouse, kids and yourself.
And last, as much as we should love or like our relatives and in-laws, the family should have some space in between. if you live in the same town try to have more sporadic visits, holidays, etc.
I love my family but my personal life doesn't need to be compromise.

Okay..its time to sign up for AA meetings, and go to one every day for a while. If its your alcohol that is causing all this anger...you need to take a good look at yourself. Cheap and good daycare is what youneed, and it appears your wife is punishing your parents for trying to help you. You need to get help for your alcoholism, and you are going to lose your family
