I would like to block a website without using the Content Advisor. Can I do this? Is there any programme I could use to block a website? Thanks!

this is one way i think should work...first go into tools, then internet options, then click security, click on ristricted sites, there it should have a button saying sites, click on that and enter the URL into the box and add it.

strongly recommend NetDog : http://www.netdogsoft.com
just add the website to "Always blocked website list" in NetDogAdmin.exe, it will block the website quitely , you can also set a password for netdogadmin

You could use Norton Parental controls if it is installed, if you are connecting through a network you could try and filter the website using your routers configuaration page(s).

There is different software you can buy.
