Some of my friends and I were on ticketmaster.com the second the tickets went on sale, and nothing good came up. How can scalpers get such good seats?

It's an inside job. The good tickets are bought internally and then sold by the purchasers or people working for the purchasers.

It relies upon on the interest. on line fee ticket sellers have a series fee. Scalpers will alter their fee in keeping with call for. If that's a Pirates vs Nationals interest on a Tuesday evening you may get your tickets lots greater inexpensive than a pink Sox/Yankee interest on Saturday afternoon.

The internet allows thousands or even tens of thousands of people to be "first in line". Yeah some of those people are probably scalpers but most are just like you. It's luck of the draw.

I know a lot of artists have fan clubs that allow the members to buy tickets before the general public, maybe that's how?
