I think so in certain cases. for example, if you are a straight a student, and are going to be taking something really hard and you don't want to ruin your GPA, I would opt for it.

I think I'm understanding what you're asking...but if I'm not, sorry 'bout that.
Well, it depends if you're playing the GPA game. I am ranked pretty high in my class, and actually being a Library Aide for no credit gave me a higher GPA than if I took AP Computer Science and made all As.
The no-credits have your points for your grades (6 for AP A, 5 for a Reg. A or AP B, etc.), are divided by one less number. So say that you have 6 AP classes and a no credit-class, and you get As in 5 of them and a B in the other. That gives you 35 points divided by 6, which is 5.833 points.
Now make that 7 AP Classes, and you make 6 As and 2 Bs. That's 40 / 7 = 5.714. See the difference? Adding that one class, and saying that you get a B in the class you added, can drop your GPA. Now if you get All As and 1 B, that's 41/7, that's 5.85.
The no credit class, such as being an aide, also helps in the homework department...there's never homework, and you can use it as a study hall. It doesn't look bad on transcripts -- as long as your other grades are fine, then they won't really care.

if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first,
a good place to start in my humble opinion is astraight to the point ebook with question and answer I found :

Usually remedial courses are for 0 credit. Sometimes in order to qualify for finanical aid you have to have a required number of hours in school so you can use that if you really need the hours.

possibly his grades do not seem almost as good as they ought to. possibly his crappy grades may placed him down interior the bottom of an same barrel as George Bush, John Kerry, Al Gore, and Dan Quayle and *shudder* it quite is the perfect position he intends ever to be. possibly he likes listening to bill O'Reilly say, "i'm quite certain that Barack Obama is a staggering guy, in basic terms staggering." (do not you dare say he became being sarcastic; he potential it.) or perchance his college years putting round with the feminist revisionists, the Black Panthers, and the neo Marxists (definite, persons, in case you imagine he did not say this, you extra effective attempt studying his books) may practice his lies about "not listening to Jeremiah Wright" or "bill Ayers in basic terms being a guy who lived in my community" and that ought to also make him seem quite undesirable. the most probably element, in my not in any respect-to-be-humble opinion, is that the classes he took were garbage classes, crap like "the feminist view of slavery in eighteenth century Finland" and "factors or masculine aggression as inspired by technique of the Mehinaku: the international and formality rape", in which practise he continuously were given all A's, pulling his in the different case lackluster GPA up from 2.4 to three.6, only a touch qualifying him to enter Harvard regulation less than Affirmative action.

Credits are applicable towrads a certificate, diploma or degree.
Non-credit courses are just for fun.
No education is bad for you, but credits are more worthwhile moneywise (if that is a concern).
