You can use a keylogger program to monitor everything that your child does. BTW...The new Vista operating system has parental controls built in so you can monitor all of his activities.

First off, if he is over 12... he is, especially if his computer is in his room. The best way to find everything on his computer (saved) is to type a period (.) into the Windows search and select pictures and movies... with a period as the search term, every picture and movie file on his computer will come up (if he's clever he might have them as 'hidden' but you can select that too under advanced search settings).

This of course is only if you really want to know. You can also check the browser history for websites he's viewing but a keylogger and content fiter won't prevent him from getting porn as 99% of porn is not gotten from websites but from file sharing (why pay when it's free... and if he's under 18 he can't join any adult websites). So again, every program these people on here have suggested will probably not do much (but take your money) since it is very unlikely that he obtains any pornography from adult websites.

Again, this is only if you really want to know... and if you do find something, don't be surprised, 99.9% of males and even a good number of females have some sort of adult material on their computers. It's just a generational difference I suppose.

I would download a Key logging programme - Use Google however be safe as many sites are malicious. If you wish I will find some safe sites and post them soon.

Basically it monitors what he types on the pc and will remain in a log to be viewed later. Hence you will be able to see what he searches and types for URLS.

The key logger will remain hidden and will only run in the background. You Son should not notice. You can also get editions that have parental locks to ensure that the programme can not be altered:

Safe links to use:

I hopes this helps.

Get on your computer & do a search on START: SEARCH: FOR FILES & FOLDERS: PICTURES, MUSIC, VIDEOS: PICTURES & PHOTOS. All of the temporary pics & downloaded ones will come up. You can do the same for videos.
