I live on the Gold Coast and have inherited a bee colony which has settled in a wall cavity in my house. (savage ones at that)

Smoke them out. Light a fire below and keep the windows and doors open for them to escape.

Call a bee keeper that is the only way other then tearing your walls down my son in law had that happen to him last year my husband had the boxes that bee keepers use but we sprayed with spray and had a vacuum dry vac and when they flew around we sucked them up we got alot of them but it took alot of tim and we sprayed alot its cheaper to call a bee keeper call your insurance company and talk to them about this..

Call an exterminator or someone who raises bees. Either should be able to help you.
