I went through this with workers compensation. They don't take away your vacation, per se, but you cannot go from full WC, to fully recovered/Vacation, and then back to full WC. Basically, you will still be on the clock with workers comp while others are using their vacation. When you get back to work, your vacation time should still be there for you. They may let you roll it over to the next year if you don't have time to use it all. Good luck.

I don't know what a Fla day is. A company cannot take away days already earned, but it can make you use them as days off as in the case of workmans comp cases. They allow you to collect full pay for those days, otherwise you would only collect a portion of you pay as defined by the workmans comp in your state, where ever that is.
