Music appreciation. I took it as an elective at high school in the US and it was the single most influential class I've ever taken.
If I could create a class, I'd say they need to teach basic kitchen skills. Cooking is the only art form that utilizes all the senses.

People need to realize that evrything is changing at a fast pace and in school the same old subjects are still taught. Schools need to keep subjects which is relevant for today's world and
teach youngsters about insurance, budgeting, etc. which by to manage their lives better at an earlier stage.

I would have been far better off If I knew all that when I was younger.

Math, English, reading comprehension, spelling, true American History based on fact, not the far left version. The U.S. Constitution, any and all sciences: ie Geology, biology, chemistry, geography. Art, music. These should all be mandatory up to the 12th grade. And no less than a C average to pass to the next grade.

I think they should teach about big rigs and the space they need to operate.

Of course on the other hand I think they should teach about the real military and not the crap you see on TV.

Trust me, I have been in both place and the crap you see on TV is nothing but crap.

Its what I think they should not teach in schools that is the real issue. I think teachers should be teachers and parents should be parents.

The teachers unions, school administrators and busy-body Board of Education members need a good kick in the butt.

Keep your propaganda away from my kids!
