i have to do a current event for school. what should i do it on? i want it to be sports news. and i live in MN so maybe something with an MN team but it doesnt have to be.

Try doing it on the current problems with steroids in sports. It's a current topic and there is alot of sources that you can reference.

You should do it on something you enjoy and know a lot about. You mentioned you would like to do it on a team from MN. Write it about the leaving of Mike Tomlin from the vikings and how it will affect the team.

I'd do it on a team that doesn't embarrass the state, like the vikings, or some gopher sports.
the twins and wild would work though. you could write about the problems with the Twins possible new staduim.
