We are planning a trip in June, already will be visiting the zoo but need ideas for other child friendly but still fun activies (at that time our daughter will be 18 months old) Thanks in advance.

In Westminster (suburb) there's a Butterfly Pavilion. It has a large room with many butterflies flying around and a small room with many insects. Popular with children.

There's also a Denver Children's Museum.

Maybe also the Museum of Science

And the Denver Art Museum has a surprising amount of stuff for kids - drawing, dressing up in costumes, etc.

visit Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs about an hour south of Denver, stop at the US Air force Academy on the way to the Springs. The Denver mint and new cool Art Museum.are nice to visit. Rocky Mtn. Nat'l park (Estes Park). is great too. Remember keep yourselves and baby well hydrated, Drink water even if you're not thirsty

go see a show at Heritage Square Music Hall... its in golden about 20 minutes away. it is the most amazing thing ever. if you are there in the summer time you can go ride the alpine slide at heritage square and play putt putt golf and ride the rides and go shopping. at heritage square
