Why would you go around saying it anyway? It doesn't make sense to me.

I think the important word here in your response is "history".
Racism knows no skin colour. I do get tired at times hearing people say they are 'owed' something because of their colour.
There are no free rides in life guys. You have to work for what you want.
Segregation is over and so if there can be a 'black person's award' show then there should be a white person's, green person's etc award show too but then, that wouldn't be allowed.

It's a social stigma. Since whites have had a history of oppressing the blacks, it seems all too natural that they are allowed to have a resistance. Pride in heritage has turned to arrogance, and while racism still exists against blacks, it is now turning back on whites, who are seen as the "villain" in this case. Even as a Puerto Rican, in living in the north, I have seen it, even in schools -black student unions, asian clubs, hispanic unions, but no white?

Beats me, if you ever find out, let the rest of us know. (By the way, my ancestors were just poor white working folk, never owned any slaves, but I quess since I'm white in their eyes I must be bad.)

White people already have power.
Plus, I'm black and have never walked around saying BLACK POWER. Neither do any other black person I know. Please, keep your ignorant questions to a minimum. Thanks!
