Considering all the anti-smoking sentiments currently going around and the fact that cigarette ads haven't been allowed on U.S.A. television since 1970 (yeah, the land of the free...puhleeez) ,I'm wondering how cigarette smoking is something that ever became socially acceptable.

Personally, I'd love to see a world wide ban. If a person farts then society is up in arms. Farts are a healthy, natural bodily function and help with the process of digestion and peristalis. There is nothing normal, natural or healthy about smoking cigarettes. And cigars smell just as bad or worse than farts. Ewww

California was the first U.S.A. state/province to enact a cigarette ban in public places, then other states in the nation followed suit, because they saw the glowing benefits California had.

well... tobacco has been around a LONG time... our founding fathers used it... so i would think it would only be natural that it would become legal.

i personally cant see how tobacco (and alcohol) can be legal but weed cant.... silly.

and yes i agree with you i think it should be banned. it doesnt do ANYTHING for you. i can understand NATURAL tobacco... not the kind you can buy now- pumped full of toxins....
