Here's a little fun fact: If you had bought gold way back in 1980, you STILL wouldn't have a gain. Not the best long-term investment.

The info I have is there will a "top" in the gold market in Feb 2007
It will be at about $680 US/ounce
Then a correction,,,possibly as low as $580 US/ounce

Then a rise to about $770 Near the end of 2007

I buy gold stocks, this is the Best info I have, But if things change I will know because I "live" the gold market.
But you won't, because you do not have access to the changing information i am always getting.
