Comets and some other objects that orbit just outside of Pluto. Most of space around us does not have the luxury to be protected from its heat. Either the temperature is very high or freezing. If a chicken was released in the orbit that contains Mars, the sunny side of the chicken would burn to a crisp and the dark side would freeze into a block of ice.

Sure.
I don't actually think they are what you call snow balls, however.
The temperatures in deep space are so cold that most likely
those snowballs are ice balls.
