I'm 13 years old and I wanted to give someone something for Valentine's Day but I'm not sure if this is too much. I was going to give her a pink pearl necklace (I remember her saying how much she loved them) like one of these:

Also, maybe a single rose too. If it's too much, what would be better? I just want to give her something special to show how I feel.

I think they are both cute, but i like the one from overstock better. It just looks nice.
Either one you go for, they have coupons to save you some money.

Absolutely FAR too much, at those prices! I'm nearly 30 and would be impressed with gifts that cost that much, certainly from someone I wasn't married to lol!
The ideas however are lovely. By all means get a necklace, the first one is prettiest, and a lot more suitable for a girl that age (unless she specifically wanted the second), and certainly get a rose, but please don't spend so much.
Just think, if you spend that much this year and you're still together next year you'll have to spend at least as much, if not more! It's the thought that counts, not the cost, and any girl who doesn't appreciate that isn't worth the effort. I'm sure she will love anything you give her.
On the side, I have to say I'm extremely impressed that you remember her saying how much she liked something and now want to give her that item as a gift, there aren't many "fully grown" men who can do that, keep it up and you won't be short of admirers when you're older, trust me!

I agree with mich_zer0. I'm 13 years old too and I think that a pink pearl necklace is just a bit to much. And if you end up breaking up you'll regret it. Go with something nice and simple like maybe the single rose and a little something else.

In my opinion, that`s way too much. However, you have really good taste, haha. Anyway, you're thirteen .. I doubt she'll be expecting something as expensive as a pearl necklace from you. Also, you two aren't going out yet I believe .. so I'm sure a single rose would please her very much. Plus, if you guys don't end up being together, you won't be kicking yourself for wasting $50 + on her! Think about it ;P and the first one looks better because it is more versitile and is capable of being worn with many different outfits.

I have to agree with mich_zer0three. Paying that much on a gift for someone you are not yet dating is going out of hand. She will definitely be impressed by just a rose. It you would like more than anything to get her a necklace, buy her faux pearls at a local department store (like someone suggested Target for $10). Save the real thing for later

The second one is sold out anyway. It's a good thing the first one looks better. Oh...is that $50 I see for the first one?? Okay, you're only 13 years old, you'll probably end up breaking up in a few months or less. I'm 13, and if you were buying something for me, I'd say no more than $10. If she really likes you, you shouldn't have to spend that much. But, that's just me.

a bit too much... but your a sweet guy for wanting to give your girlfriend something like that... I got an opal ring from my boyfriend on our second valentines day (first anniversary) ... but Im also twenty years old... Try maybe a dozen roses and save the necklace for an anniversary gift or something... just to make sure she loves you as much as you love her

I'm 15 and i just bought my BF a 100$ watch, so... i should not be talking. i say if u really love her and u believe that ur gonna stay together for more than a week then go for it.

No, it's not too much. You can get one for around 10 bucks at target.
