So, its just that every time I have a period, it feels like my genital area? the area where the blood comes out from is going to fall off!! I'm sorry if it doesn't make much sense, but it's not super painful, but it feels like it's just going to drop off...Does anyone else have this kind of feeling?

Yes, I have this feeling all the time! When I have my period, it's a real heavy feeling down there, and it aches. It's completely normal... just part of the overall body aching that comes along with periods! Things like Aleve, and Midol can help relieve this though... also a heating pad. Drug stores also sell patches that you can put on your lower abdomen that will help the overall pain.

It's pretty normal for some ladies. At that time of the month(and the week or two before)EVERYTHING begins to swell...it's all part of the package for some of us. Just for the record, that "area where the blood come out" is call your vagina. Your old enough to be having periods, you should be learning the proper names of your body parts.

I have never experienced anything like that and I am 44.

See your Gyn about it.
