If you really wanted to leave, you would. I think you want to stay with him, but there's something in this relationship that you would like to change and you feel that you can't or perhaps, there's so much you have gone Thur with him that it's hard to let go. Being in an on/off relationship make you have hope and if you notice one thing about hope, it's stronger than faith. So while faith is the things that is Hope for but things that's not seen, it's easiest to hope for somethings than to say it will be and leave it in God's hand. If you are tired and you feel there is no way out then you're stuck, but if this is what you want then tell him again and don't let him speak long enough to convince you, that you're making a mistake. I know this is uncomfortable for you, but you have to put your foot down. You are not confused, you want to leave, but you are afraid that you will be alone. That won't be bad, you can learn who you really are if you are alone. "NOT LONELY''.

If the reason you're staying is out of guilt, then the relationship is over at least on your part. Maybe you just need to really think about what it is you want & need from another person in your life. Write down his good qualities and bad ones...seriously, this will help you sort things out in your mind and take an honest look at what you've got to deal with. Think about life without him in it. Really try to picture your life without him & see how it makes you feel. This will also help you decide. It takes courage to walk away & start over.I hope you make a good decision for yourself. Be happy.

put your feelings on a fictitious scale and do a cost benefits analysis. Do the good things out weight the bad ones?
financially can you afford to dump him
Guilt is a horrible reason to return
Say no
move out and mean it
look how much time you have wasted already
he will get over it eventually but better yet, you will be doing HIM a favor too
he deserves someone who will LOVE him 100% just like you do.
Since he is not strong enough to see this, a final act of love would be for you to do this for him!

Being in a relationship takes a lot of work. If you want to get out then come clean. "Just do it" Talk with him again and tell him that you want to be alone and you have no desire to be involved in a commit ed relationship.

it depends how serious the problems are and if u think u can work them out. i would think a relationship is over when there is only one person who wants to stay in it.
