They do have glasses that can completely correct the problem. ♥♥♥
The Wikipedia link below has a complete description of the problem, and some easy corrections.

Met a patient in the waiting room when I was getting the Lasik procedure done. She had the worst degree of astigmatism possible. She had a couple of procedures done and got rid of it completely. Astigmatism is where you can still see but things are still a bit blurry. I have 20/30 vision after Lasik, but have a minor astigmatism in my right eye. I use glasses to get me to 20/20 and to correct for the astigmatism.

Astigmatism isn't a desease; it's a common defect in the lens/cornea of the eye. It means that your eye focuses differently along different axes. If it's a problem for you, then you need prescription eyeglasses. The only 'cure' would be surgery like LASIK.

I heard astigmatism was a unnatural curvature of the eye ball. So that both eyes can not converge on the same spot at the same time.

It's a misallignment in your eye. It can't be cured, but with a proper eyeglass prescription you shouldn't be bothered by it.

It can't be "cured", but you can get glasses or contacts that correct it.
