There are too many hotels to be listed here, for the monet have a look here http://www.oldshiphotel-brighton.co.uk/
You could always call rather than book online and try to negotiate a good deal .

Hope your parents have a wonderful time

It all depends what time of the year they will be going.
In the summer, all the hotels will be full price - no special deals. The most reasonable priced in the summer is Travel Lodge (there are several in the town). However, these aren't the sort of place you want for a special occasion. They have no facilities other than your room.

If they are going out of season, such as now, and if you can get in Brighton from wherever you are - pop into the Grand, one of the best in town, and have a quiet word with the head receptionist.

Tell him/her the truth. Parents, anniversary, 30 years etc - and you want to give them the best but quite frankly, you can't afford it. Could they please give you a good discount? Suggest they book you in as a member of staff from the De Vere group (they own the chain) It is such a big hotel, with so many empty rooms in the off season, you'd probably get a very good deal - but you would be wasting your time doing it by phone or email.

The Kings Hotel is OK and situated on the sea front position beside the West Pier.

Most of Brighton’s major attractions including Churchill Square, Royal Pavillion, The Lanes, North Laine, Sea Life Centre and Brighton Pier are all only a 10 minute walking distance from the hotel.

If you want to look at other hotels in the area, I'd suggest you check out some of the last minute Brighton deals which can give a lot more value for your money. Good luck .... that';s a nice touch for your Mum and Dad.

Try the Granville Hotel, or Paskins Townhouse.
Links to both below. Great reputations and both a little different from the norm.
