I am booking a 3 day safari. We are staying in luxury camping (tents with beds). We have a driver/guide for everything. I just want to know if this is a good site to book through, if anyone has had any problems with them in the past.

We visisted Kruger National Park in July 2005. I did all my bookings via the South Africa National Park website directly. It's seems to me this site provides a more accurate report on availabilty etc. (and true costs, not inflated for any middle-person). I recall some of the other sites reported no vacancies when in fact there were and slightly higher costs. I would take a look at the Kruger site carefully before you did any bookings. By the way, we had a rented car and stayed in the fantasic Rodavels in 3 camps. At each camp we could join a wildlife drive or hike. Gave us lots of flexibility and we had a great time.

Wow you are in for a fantastic time, I lived in S.A in the Transvaal where most of the game reserves are based, I was a P.R. for a private hire plane company and my job was to take travel agents from all over the world and show them the different types of reserves available, my favourite on a budget (around £10 per night) is Maduma Boma www.madumaboma.co.za, not just because of the money, it's just more real than lots of the others which have become very commercial, next to your rondavel you have your own pool and area where you can bbq and listen to the wild animals and look at the amazing skies, it's so peaceful and beautiful. Motswari www.motswari.co.za is also amazing but a little more luxurious and costly, The Kruger National park is the most commercial so if you are worried about things being too wild then The Kruger is for you, You will come back a changed person. Enjoy you lucky people.

I used the site to book a b&b in crocodile bridge and it worked well. Everything was as stated in the website.
