If you found out someone you know divorced their husbands and married someone else a year later, what would you think? Would it make a difference if it was 18 months later?

Its all in what makes you happy, if your friend is now happy be happy for her. Communicate with her and ask her what was missing and what this relatioship gives her or him the things that they needed. If you are not happy in a relationship why stay in it? have you really talk to him/her about it. are you afraid that you will make a mistake in your own life? Talk you will know in your heart if it was the right choice for her and if it bothers you whay does it bother you. did your values get questioned. Life is too short to live with regret...take care Heather

I do not see why someone getting married after a year is an issue. I assume that the divorce was mutual so why would there be any unwell feelings regardless weather it was 12 months, 18 months, or 8 months. Everyone is entitled to be happy!

Why would any one care really unless they were part of the immediate family, I'm talking a child that is a member of the household or a spouse that is paying alimony. I hear all the time that so and so down the street got remarried and I didn't even know they had gotten a divorce, doesn't hurt my feelings at all, or one of my classmates just remarried (didn't know anyone would marry them to begin with) Heck, my first husbands been married 4 different times and I only knew the last one and that's only because he had a child with her and our girls have pictures of their half brother (ghee, no one told me I was suppose to keep track of his marriages). Unless it was any of your business to know about it I wouldn't think it was a major problem

First of all it would not really be my business... A year or 18 months is not really that much of a difference in time any way only 6 months of time. I really would not think much of it and anyway it is their choice if they want to marry and when. No one can make that choice for them.
