Is this kind of like "American Idol"?

It's too OTT for me, I do enjoy the dancing but it's all the hype around these programs that can't be good for the kids if they don't get put through, it's too much pressure.

first of all, jerry was on "Dancing with the stars" . and yes, im a dedicated fan. i love that show, its like american idol, but only dancing.
