In no particular order:
Anything written by Madeleine L'Engle
The Mediator series by Meg Cabot (same author as Princess Diaries, but a better series)
Eragon & Eldest
Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
Gone with the Wind
There's much more, but I have to go! Hope this helps!

Sloppy Firsts by megan Mccafferty. I read it in two days it was impossible to put down. Its about a very cynical girl and her high school experiences. It's hilarious, and I don't know anyone who hasn't liked it. theres two follow up books as well, second helpings and charmed thirds. Second helpings was just as good, charmed thirds was a little darker and not as good. Hope that helps!
