give it another couple of months, but in the mean time look for other career options. though not from your current employers computers (you never know who is watching what you type on your corporate lan).
arrange interviews for your lunch break and or day off.
if you get a job offer GREAT at a company you want to work for that is a bonus.
you may like to write spec letters asking if there are any positions vacant at a company you would like to work for enclose your C.V. remember to send it on A4 paper and to use a 12 ppoint font such as times new roman for example. make sure to send in a c4 envelope (envelope large enough that the a4 is not folded in transit). remember presentation is everything, a C.V. is your chance to make a good first impression on a prospective employer.
but then you know all that having recently just got your current job.
as for dreading monday, may be go and talk to your current employer detailing what you do not like about the place. may be they will be able to do something about the problems.
just talk it out with your boss first. you need to be clear and focused so plan what you want to say. may be write down what you want to say and go through it by reading it aloud with your boyfriend, partner or other friend or family member acting as your boss. make them be as tough on quizzing you about the points you raise as they can so that you are well prepared to tackle your boss when you speak to him/her.
good luck.
i hope it all works out for the best.

What kind of things do you think you would enjoy doing? I suggest looking for any aspect of your current work that you enjoy, and doing a good job at it. Ask your boss if you could have more responsibilities in those aspects if possible. I wouldn't suggest quiting now, since that would really show other employers that you are not committed. If all else fails and you are just dreading this job in every way, try looking for another job and quit after you've found one that you think you may enjoy better. But explore your current job, maybe you haven't explore every possibility. There must be benefits from doing what you are doing and there are always new things to be learned. And in the mean time, make some friends at work. Maybe there are other possibilities at other departments at your office. Friends really make work enjoyable, and you can really just stay at a job for the money, or be happy to go to work and enjoy it because of the people. Good luck and I hope you find something you enjoy.

Hi!
I'm a firm believer in gut instinct, and I think your instincts are telling you to get the hell out of there.
Believe me life is too short to waste, so don't go back on Monday and get straight to the job centre, or look in the classifieds and find yourself another job.
Don't forget to ring in and let them know that you won't be coming in. Don't be afraid to do this, it's the least you can do.
Don't worry about what they'll think of you, they'll get someone else to replace you, no worries.
It's the MOST horrible feeling in the world - dreading having to go into work when you don't really want to. Afterall, you spend so much time at work, I think it's very important that you enjoy it.
Best of luck!!

Find a new job. What happens 3 years from now, when you are still there? Yeah it's a paycheck, but you will become numb to how boring it once was and how much it didn't fit your personality and be stuck in the office job rut.
Find a job doing what you like to do. Ge paid a litte to do it. Become great at it. Then get paid lots to do what you like.

Stay where you are, but look for another job in the meantime, that way you won't lose out on money. Just keep in the back of your mind that you are going to leave there soon and you might be able to tolerate it better.
Sorry for you - it's horrible when you are in a job you hate - you spend too much of your life working; you might as well enjoy it.

Did you know what you'd be doing BEFORE you took the job?
I'm sure they told you what would be expected of you as an employee. If it sounded like something you didn't like or want to do, you should've turned it down and sought employment elsewhere.
With that in mind...suck it up and be the adult you are supposed to be. Do the job you're paid to do. If it is that unbearable...look for another job in a field you enjoy.
BTW...That's life. Deal with it!

When you were interviewed what attracted you to the job?
Are you missing your mates from your old job? Made any new ones?
Give it more time, if you are bored then ask for a new task to learn. When you show aptitude for something you'll get plenty to do.

Leave now if you can afford to. I'm in the same boat. Started end of October, started looking for another job a week later. No luck yet though. Good luck.

Not having to work is the best. Sure food and shelter are hard to come by but once you get accustom to being hungry and cold it's actually a really good life.
