VInce Young had a great season, he made Rookie of the Year and Pro Bowl. Starting from 0-5, he closed the season with an 8-8 record. Will the Titans make the superbowl or the playoffs next year?

You best believe it I am jumping on the Titans bandwagon right now. They will not only make the playoffs but win the AFC south. I don't care about the Indianapolis Colts winning the Super Bowl, they are over the cap and someone has to go. The Titans had the best record in the AFC south against there opponents, they went 4-2 and beat the Colts. They have Vince Young, Pacman Jones, Chris Hope, Keith Bulluck, Travis Henry, and David Thorton. They are gonna have another good draft this year and Vince Young will get better. Look out Peyton you might not be the star of Tennessee much longer.

Playoff contention for the Tennessee is a definite possibility, but it's up to Jeff Fisher and the Front Office to make improvements on a young unit on Defense. The obvious good news is the team has Vince Young, but also the Titans have about $37 Million under the Salary Cap which well enough to make Key acquisitions in Free Agency let alone the Draft.

The Bad News: The Titans have a least a couple years to go to make a run for the Super Bowl.

Playoffs is a very good possibilty with VY. Superbowl, they're still about 4-5 years out as well as 3-4 better players out. They just started rebuilding, I think Super Bowl next year is way out of the question.

They will most likely make the playoffs next year.

To those that say "no way" or "LOL"... WAKE UP PEOPLE! They went 8-3 over the last 11 games, barely missing a wildcard spot.

It took a few games for Young to adapt to the NFL but once he did, the Titans were a formiddable team.

This year it is highly unlikly because way to much would have to happen 1. The Titans would have to win out, and go 9-7 2. All but one of the 8-5 teams would have to lose out or have to lose 2 games and have lost to them during the season 3. None of the 7-6 or 6-7 squads can get tied with them and beaten them during the season

I could see them making the playoffs, but they are still a couple players and a little experience away from being a super bowl team. If they keep their nucleus, draft well, and don't have injuries that impede key players' (cough... Vince Young... cough) progress, then maybe in 3 to 4 years.

super bowl you gotta be kiding me no way now yes vince young did have a great rookie season but come on now there's no way he can take them to the super bowl he's still gotta alot of growing up to do in the nfl now i do think they could be awild card cuz there not winning that division but even a wildcard is a long shot cuz of the jag's and the buffalo bill's had a good ending to thier season and they could be in the mix playoff's maybe super bowl hell no

Can Vince clone himself and play all 22 starting positions and also special teams? No, so the answer to your question is no, and no.

They have a future, but not just yet. You may have to wait a few years before the Oilers, oops, sorry Titans are serious contenders.

We have great hopes for our Titans here in Tennessee. It's such a young team and Jeff Fisher has a lot of training to do but they've got the potential to do great things in a year or two.
