I am 5'10 1/2
and i weight about 145lbs.
i think im fat,
but my family says i might be anerxoic because i think im fat and they constantly call me skinny.
my friends say im skinny or on the skinny side of normal.
im very weight consicous and i would like to know peoples opnions. thank you!

im close to ur height and only weigh 80lbs!

Listen, a healthy weight is different for everyone. Doctors use the Body Mass Index as an attempt to standardize weight for people, but almost any doctor will admit that it is not a perfect measurement. That's why there is such much variance in weight for people of the same height that are perfectly healthy Instead of asking if your weight means whether or not you're fat, you should be asking if you're healthy. Do you exercise? Do you eat right? Those are things that you should be concerned with. If you're worried about it, maybe you should get somebody to do a fat percentage check on your body. They will be able to tell you what a healthy fat percentage is for your age, and then you can go from there.

I'm 5'10, and weigh 145 lbs. I consider myself "chubby" in some areas of my body. It all depends on how you carry your weight. If you shouldn't judge yourself on how much you weigh. It's all wether or not you are toned and feel good. But, you are at a healthy weight. You probably feel "fat" because of images of 80 lb women all over the media! I know thats my problem. So, just try not to dwell on it. Do some good cardio and weight training and you will be healthy, and that;s the main goal i've realised. I hope this helps.

Nope you're not fat but...you might be anorexic talk to a Doc. You're at normal weight. I have a friend she's 6' and weights 100 and she can't get over her "fatness" she still thinks she's fat and she looks like a skeleton. She looks like one of the jews in the holocaust no ofence. If you think your fat and are at normal weight you should really talk to a Doctor you might get to the point you think your fat and die of starvation or should I say ANOREXIA. A lot of girls suffer from this talk to a Doc. Think about it.

Wow. You are the same height and weight as I. And I'm not fat at all. I've been this size sense the 10th grade. I graduated in '94.

I don't think it matters. Anybody can be beautiful at any weight. Less and less people think this these days, but yes, it's true. Don't listen to people if they tell you you need to lose or gain weight (unless it's a doctor). It's your body and if you're comfortable with it, good for you.

if you are not happy with weight then do some light exercises try walking or riding a bike remember you are still young and your body is still developing. you have lots of time your life to worry about this just try to go about this with some sense and don't go crazy over this stuff its not worth it just watch portions cut back on the fried stuff and the soda if you are a big soda freak like me. don't worry though you are fine i wouldn't stress to much about this.

what you are is normal basically what im tryin to say is that your skinny there's nothin wrong with you at all your not even close to fat now me i would be considered overweight im 5'2 and weigh 165 now to some ppl thats fat but i dont see it nor do i care what ppl say so just try to be comfortable with how you are

it wouldnt hurt to gain weight just dont go over weight or dont go on a crazy no eating thing i'd maybe gain 10 pounds if possible but i wouldnt say ur overweight at all
