this is for my homework it as km/hr, mi/hr and mph isnt mi/hr and mph the same thing?

"mi" is the standard abbreviation for mile.

Although we are used to seeing MPH meaning miles per hour, if some of your problems are phrased in km/hr, then mi/hr does make sense.

Look back in your book a few pages. Do they give any examples, refering to mi/hr?

Miles Per Hour = mi/hr (but in science m=meters because of the metric systen)

Km/hr= Kilometers per Hour
