I don't think it actually "makes" you stupid.
However, it CAN make some people loose sight of reality, and do stupid things as a result of that. (stalking, or even worse)
Mind you, I think it has everything to do with which programs you watch. (I've actually learned quite a bit from TV, by frequently watching Discovery Channel, National Geographic, and even Animal Planet)

Only if I watch some idiotic show with a diluted plot (or no plot) and no sense of good taste. So the answer is yes.

It very well could. If you believe what is showing on TV you would have to be either an idiot or stupid if you believe in the fantasies produced in television.

only when I watch college Jeopardy and I can't answer many questions....I am 36..you know what is worse? High school Jeopardy when they know more than me and I have my Masters!

no, a lot of people learn how to speak different languages and you learn a lot from watching tv, so it acually makes u smarter
