Well, I was wondering, I get on here to answer questions for fun. However, do we get anyhting out of the points? Just wondering.

Just points here, but there is a similar website where you can ask questions, rate answers, respond, but get paid instead of points. You just have to have a PayPal account. I like it just as well ---you won't get filthy rich or anything, just a quarter a day maybe for an hour's worth of discussion. You also earn on the friends you refer. It's fun and it's a legitimate site. People all around the world are on it and it makes for some interesting discussions. Check it out:

No, you just go to another level. Last year for Yahoo answers 1st birthday, they gave out gifts depending on what level you were, if you signed up for it... I got a sports bottle for level 5, level 7 got a fleece jacket, level6 got coffee mugs, then there were refrigerate magnets etc.. for the rest.

Well I just have gotten to lvl 2 and I finally get to rate questions, where as I couldn't before at lvl one...then there is the fact that you can ask more questions.

It's all about the competition..but no we don't get anything for the points except self-accomplishment..It gets pretty competitive here! Watch out!

You try to answer questions to receive points and try to get to level 7 the fastest to get on the leader Bord. well that is my opinion

I have heard from a few people that have reached level 7... that they get Yahoo Fleece Jackets and hats... don't know how true that is

the more points you get, the more questions you can ask. (but then it costs 5 points to ask a question)
