its the right bulb as it was replaced during m.o.t, help

no problems with indicators,or any connections,
very baffling

Could possibly just be bad luck, my son replaced 2 headlights in a week. All my brothers are car mechanic's.!!!!

Seems silly to ask but ...

Are you replacing the bulb with one of the same wattage?

Many bulbs look identical but they are marked on the side of the metal body with 12V and 5.5W or 12V and 10W.

Make sure that the same bulb rating is used and you should be okay.

Don't know why, but Vauxhall's seem to be notorious for blown bulbs. I changed more bulbs on an Astra I had until recently that on all the other cars I've owned put together!

check the wires could be a bad earth or damp around the terminals shorting them out. Also check your hand book for wattage size of bulb

its just unfortunate- try another one. The answers here about poor wiring and surges of power are the sort of thing my mother would say - they are not based on any technical facts. Sorry to be rude folks but the person needs to get it right

my husband said earth cnnection or live connection could be lose, try and close the connections when you replace the next bulb good look

its a link fuse thats a prob,to much power surging thru, u got probs with indicators????? could be flasher link or go for a higher wattage bulb xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

may be just cheap bulbs or just bad luck?
try philips i dont get much probs with them
