(hypothetically), and the poilce have to go through your things to try and connect something to your death (why and how you died).

Is there anything in your journal/email inbox, house, work drawers etc. that you are afraid that family members or friends will see? If so, what is it?

For example...if I died today, I would not want anyone to see:

-how messy my room is (dirty laundry and such everywhere)..embarassing!
-my online journal
-my paper journal (i have question in there about God and my eating disorder)
-things that I search online
-cash in my drawers

Wow. And here I thought that I was the only one in the universe who felt this way. I think the real conscientious people among us might have this fear of being "exposed." I think we all do things that we are ashamed of, like bad habits, or sins that come back and haunt us from time to time. Real religious people might have issues with their sexual desires and may do their best to conceal them. Every once in a while, an adult website might appear on my screen and I do feel crappy for having succumed to this sin. My house is a mess and I have a difficult time throwing things away( I just love information) If I died and my family saw all my clutter that I keep, i would feel ashamed even though I was dead. I know it sounds like I'm messed up, but I am who I am, and have gotton to the point of accepting myself despite these irrational thoughts.

No, nothing written down!! When I was a Teenager out on a date one night, my Mother took the Opportunity to Search for My Diary. When I returned that night and walked through the front door I knew Immediately, by the Look on my Mother's Face, that she had read My Diary!! And She Deserved every single Wild Story and bits of Insane Propaganda I had Written There to Test Her, even Welcoming Her to the First Page!! (She never said a word about it and neither did I) So Remember that the word Diary or Journal just SCREAMS out READ ME to the Whole World!!
And that when you build a better mouse trap, you breed a smarter mouse!! @8-)

I would prefer to die with my secrets... but that reminds me, I have to dispose of my Dream Journal... I used to write in there, about dreams I had every night. I wouldn't want anyone to read those - they might go "What the heck!?" if they read it.

I'd also like to delete some emails I've got sitting around in my inbox(s).

If I died today, there are certainly things I wouldn't want anyone to see, but my best friend holds dear most of my secrets and I would have no regrets because God already sees everything of me.
