I'm not sure which way you mean this question, so i'll just answer both:
There's no real filter over who can be your friends and who cannot. :] Some people often consider their siblings, especially twins, to be their best friends. It all depends on the individuals, and how well you mesh with them.
If you're asking if your friends can be counted as a sort of "extended family", then this is true too. :] Friends are people you trust and confide in, so I don't see why not, kind of like a secondary family. While they may not be technically family, it just depends on how you define friendship and family.

HELL YES! You can pick your fiends but not your family, your good friends you become you extended family with out you even knowing, My best friends family of 34 years I love them to death they would do anything for me as I would for them. I have so many extended families you I don't know where to go for the holidays they all want you to come over for dinner. So go out and make as many extended families as you can it's with it.
Nothing says you can’t love others like family!

Yes because you can find someone in your family that is extremely supportive & complements your personality. Complications can arise. You might not want to hang out with her while your trying to visit with your grandmother. You might have to be cautious about sharing true feelings about her immediate family. Etc, etc. However, I think complications exist between friends who aren't related.

Depends. I consider a lot of my family members to also be friends, but we're family first. We can also hang out like friends do.

nyone can b ur friend like my 2nd cousin is my friend. We like to hang out and that doesn't mean dat we can't b friends jsut cuz we're 2nd cousins.

Never works out...they will backstab you once they get a chance...everyone here keeps saying that you can...well, you can't say how ugly your aunt is in front of your cousin...if you are restrcited as to what you can and can't say...that is conditional and friendship is un-conditional.
