switch between speakers and headphone on laptop?

Is it possible to change which output the sound goes through without unplugging the headphone jack? thanks

Not on most laptops (or desktops). When you plug something into the headphone jack, it is designed to assume that you do not want sound from the internal speakers and turns them off.

go to controll pannel and look in sounds and audio devices.
